Episode 42 (catch up, random topics, UFO's, guns, feelings, running)

Hey! It took me way too long to upload this episode. Insert excuses here.

A little more than 20 minutes in, my microphone got dumb for 5 or 10 minutes. Screw two mics, I'm only using one from now on.

In this episode we talk a little about Mars, bigfoot, open-carrying guns, JoAnn Fabrics, taking apart my motorcycle, our feelings, running, and so on. We just kinda rambled I guess.

Please note that when I mentioned Hobbywhatever, I meant Craft Warehouse (in Boise).

As usual, the end music (the "outro") is from Purple Planet. I've stuck with it because it seems to work well.

Episode 41 (missed job opportunity, Bob Lazar, restaurants, and anxiety)

Greetings, programs!

Weird audio warning: Sometimes my computer gets dumb, and the audio gets weird momentarily. I think I know what's wrong with it.

Hey! It didn't take me a month to upload this episode! (close, but not quite)

In this episode we talk a little about a job opportunity that didn't come to fruition. Then we talk a LOT about a guy named Bob Lazar and his claims. Then we talk about other sundry things.

We appreciate you!

Episode 40 (movies, podcasts, travel)

Wow. That's embarrassing. It took me more than a month this time to get around to uploading this episode that we recorded in the middle of June. Sad.

At any rate, it's here now! In this episode, we talk about movies, podcasts, and travel. No more details than that, I'm afraid... it's been so long since we recorded this that I'm going to have to give the episode a listen just so I can be reminded of what we talked about. :)

Edit: I totally forgot to add in the audio of this youtube video.

Episode 39 (legislation follow-up, running, opening up about mental health)

Just a little warning: At about half an hour in, Daniel's mic died and John's mic started doing this weird little reverb thing. Then, just as we were about to imitate someone in a metal band known for being stingey, everything died. I think the whole USB bus fried, because it stopped recognizing the things plugged into it and restarting it didn't fix it. We had to just switch to a different computer and use a built-in recording program to finish up the episode.

We have a potential replacement computer, but it might take a little bit to implement it...

Anyway, in this episode we talked a little bit about what happened when the Idaho legislature finished up and went home. We also talk about a couple of movies, about running Robie, and we open up about mental health again. I don't remember what else we talked about. I'll listen to the whole episode after I publish this. :)

Episode 38 (nose, truck, funeral, bike, legislation)

Hey, it didn't take me a month this time to publish this! Yay!

Please be aware that a couple of spots in the audio sounds weird because we finally got back to using two microphones, but Linux delayed the audio from one of them by one millisecond, so you'll hear a tiny bit of reverb or something. It doesn't last the whole episode. I'll do it better next time. :)

In this episode, we talk a little about John breaking his nose, a truck, a funeral, a bike, and current Idaho legislation. Don't worry, we're sticking to our "no politics" policy... it's just that there are some interesting bills in the Idaho legislature that don't really have a political slant, so we thought it was safe enough for us to talk about. :)

Episode 37 (holidays, new year, expectations)

Funny thing... we recorded this back on January 22nd. Here it is, February 22nd and I'm just barely getting this episode published. Shameful. :)

In this episode, we talk a little bit about how we spent the holidays and the new year celebration, and what we expect or hope from 2019. Perhaps we should add "record more and publish sooner" to the list of new year's resolutions... :)
